Fire Destroys Family's Auto Repair Shop

Hey all,

As some of you have seen, a staple of our community has been lost.

Angwin Valley View Auto was the victim of an alleged arsonist that destroyed this family-owned and operated business. Thankfully the suspect has been arrested and charged in the matter. Fueled by gasoline and other combustibles, the fire consumed the entire shop in just a few minutes. Without time to secure any possessions, tools, equipment, or customer

belongings, Victor and his crew evacuated the building and were unharmed physically. I am incredibly grateful everyone was able to return home safely.

My hope in starting this fundraiser is that it may come as a second blessing- Victor, his wife, and six children need our help. Some of us know precisly what it is like to lose everything to fire. It's absolutly gutwrenching. Victor is the sole provider of income for his family. He has lost his place of business and needs our support to get things back and going again. He has helped sooo many of us with minor repairs free of charge to significant overhauls on payment plans. His dedication to supporting the community should be reflected in our willingness to give back.

I have personally and professionally known Victor and his family for nearly 20 years. He is dedicated to helping people and passionate about keeping us on the road. I am seeking to raise $15,000 that will cover his families expenditures for the next 3 months; until the investigations are complete. The business was insured but that takes time: They needs us NOW. We owe it to Victor and his family to help them through this devistating event. No amount is too small and everyone should help if they can.
