Fire destroys family home in Circleville

On the morning of March 16th, a fire started on the front porch of my Dad's home in Circleville, NY. They tell us it started from a lithium battery. The fire and smoke destroyed the house and everything inside - nothing was left. The hardest part for the both of us, and the biggest loss in this horrible fire, was our furry family members. Gone way too soon were our sweet, lovable 2yr old German Sheppard Rocki who loved belly rubs, playing in the snow and stealing snacks when we weren't looking; and our 3yr old rescue cat Joey who loved playing dress up, taking naps in the window, and tormenting Rocki.

My dad does not have insurance and is currently out of work on disability. I don't know where he will live, or how he will be able to rebuild our home.
