Hi everyone, my name is Joanie and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear sweet friend Renita Castano Jackson .

Renita Castano Jackson is organizing this fundraiser. Renita’s parents lost their home of 54 years to a devastating fire . Below are the details of the event from Renita .

My name is Renita and I am raising money to help my parents, Albert and Geraldine Johnson.

Only days ago, their home since 1968, caught fire.

Although the structure of the house is still intact, the fire has left a great deal of damage and destruction.

We are blessed that those in the house at the time we’re able to get out unharmed.

However, they literally had nothing but the clothes on their back and now must begin the painstaking process of grieving for what they had and begin again in their 80’s to rebuild their lives.

Unfortunately, we have learned the their home owners insurance coverage had lapsed, so we are in need of funds to rebuild or get them resettled into a new place to call their home.

We are so grateful for all prayers and any financial support you are able to give.
