Fire Destroys Deputy's Home

Deputy Goree Allen Jr. has served the citizens of Harris County for over 20 years and is a veteran of the United States Navy. On Monday, November 5, 2018, Deputy Allen's home caught fire and received extensive damage and loss of property and belongings.
Fortunately Deputy Allen his wife and children were not home when the fire started. Their only daughter is currently away in U.S. Army Basic Training and is unaware of this tragic loss. Deputy Allen was in the process of selecting a new insurance company when the fire started and was without coverage during this devastating event.
