Fire Destroys Colin's Home: Your Help Needed

On Friday, July 25, 2025, Colin received a call from his neighbor - "Come home, you're apartment's on fire!" Sure enough his complex was on fire. Colin's apartment and all its contents, with a few minor exceptions, is a total loss.

Mike, his cat, was in the apartment at the time of the fire. Fortunately, Mike was found by firefighters, and, after an overnight stay at the emergency animal hospital and treatment for smoke inhalation, he seems to be none the worse for his experience.

Colin will need to find a new apartment, pay for Mike's hospital stay, and replace all his personal items - furniture, electronics, clothes, everything. He and Mike will be staying with family for the short term while he starts over.
