Fire destroys business for local strongman

As some of you may already know, my brother Aaron Fondry’s restaurant, The Wine Gate, has had to shut down to rebuild/fix damages from a fire caused by a neglectful delivery worker. While thankfully no one was injured due to the fire, the damage to the restaurant has been crippling, especially in the already stressful time of COVID-19.
The Wine Gate is currently closed for the new few months while the kitchen and other damaged parts of the restaurant are being rebuilt. As you can imagine, this was an especially difficult time for this to happen when there are such strict guidelines to follow to even allow the restaurant to stay open during the pandemic.
Aaron is a successful business owner of not just The Wine Gate, but his fitness center, Atlas Training Systems also located in Saint Johnsbury, VT. As an active member of the community, diligently hard worker, and entrepreneur, this damage to his restaurant has been a setback no one was prepared for. Even with insurance, the code upgrades to the destroyed kitchen and surrounding area will be an upwards of $20,000 out of pocket.
The Wine Gate and its employees are eager to reopen as soon as possible. The point of this GoFundMe is not to point fingers, blame or take pity, but simply to share and donate if you’re able. While we do realize these are tough times for most, any size donation would mean the world to us. There is no amount too small, even simply sharing this post would work wonders.
