Fire Destroyed Arista’s Family Home

Hi, my name is Dawn Ozmore and I am trying to help raise funds for my friend, Arista Jones, her four (4) year old daughter, and her mother. Arista is a kind hearted, gentle soul who does so much for many of us in the Pawleys Island community of South Carolina. On Friday night, November 5th, 2021, her house was destroyed by a fire. Arista, her four year old daughter, and mother managed to escape with just the clothes on their backs; but the house and contents were consumed by fire.

Imagine losing everything you owned, including your family house, as the holidays are approaching. We have set a goal to raise $15,000 to help lift some of the financial burden and stress from their shoulders. We are also trying to meet their immediate needs with warm clothing, hygiene essentials, toys for her daughter, food & gift cards, but they are currently limited on space.

Arista and her family are temporarily in a hotel until long term living arrangements can be decided, and while they have access to a microwave, they will also need funds to help with daily food costs. Target, Wal-Mart, and Amazon gift cards could tremendously help them right now as well.
