Fire damage at work -in need of help!!

Hey friends,

Matt here. I've never done a GoFundMe ever and God knows there's been plenty of times in my life when I've needed help. Unfortunately, I do live paycheck to paycheck, and I hate that fact... but it is what it is.

When the pandemic happened three years ago, it pretty much messed things up for me, big-time. It's been a little bit of an uphill battle since, but just taking everything day-to-day.

Anyways... still doing the waiting tables thing... I've been fortunate to be at my job, The Tasting Kitchen in Venice, for 9 plus years. Unfortunately, we had a fire a few weeks back. While we had hoped it would be back within a month, it's now looking like it's not going to be back until June, and on top of the that, the restaurant with their insurance, had hoped to recoup us for a good amount of lost wages, but that amount is at a bare minimum and not enough to keep myself afloat. I'm pretty S.O.L. right now in that I just was, unfortunately, no way near prepared for this and getting behind with rent, bills, etc.

While it's certainly not easy to reach out and ask for this, I'm simply looking to try and make up for lost income in the time period while my job does remodeling and repair. Thank you for listening!! And any help is so greatly appreciated!
