Fire burns Nurse's home in Talent, OR wildfire
Donation protected
Beloved Madison Vecchi, newly minted Registered Nurse lost her home in the catastrophic wildfires in Talent, Oregon on September 8, 2020.

Madison is a top 2020 graduate from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) where she earned her Nursing Degree with honors and passed the NCLEX on the first try. After already having her graduation ruined by COVID-19, she moved into her new home only weeks before the devastating wildfires that swept through California and Oregon. She lost everything! The entire building is destroyed along with all of her clothes, and memories. Please help this selfless young nurse get back on her feet, so she can get back to living out her passion to help others in need.
The devastation of this fire in Madison's community has displaced more than 1000 families in the towns of Talent and Phoenix. We thank God that she is safe.

UPDATE: "What used to be my front door... I was able to go back to Talent today and see my pile of ash. It’s pretty crazy to see in person but it reminds me of how thankful I am to have my life. I am also so grateful to this community who have supported me during a very challenging time. I don’t know what I would do without the generosity and kindness of my family, friends the Asante community, and so many strangers. Thank you!" - Madison Vecchi
