Fire assistance for Dan Harrison

As you may be aware, during the ice storm that swept across Texas last week, Dan Harrison's home in Austin caught fire.

Tuesday afternoon, as their power was being restored after 2 days in the cold, Dan heard noise coming from the garage. He opened the door to see an extremely large fire burning along one wall.  Dan immediately went to hit the breakers – but seconds later quickly realized there were two cars in the garage, each with full tanks of gas, sitting just next to the growing fire.  Dan quickly ran back through the house, collected his wife and dogs and quickly exited the house.  Less than two minutes later, the entire roof of their home was engulfed in fire.

The house was completely lost, including all of their belongings.

Fortunately, Dan has his parents with whom he and his wife, Taylor, will be staying for the time being as they navigate phase one of many in this process.  The intent of this page is to provide support to Dan and Taylor as they, quite literally, rebuild their lives from the ground up as a result of this tragic event.

All funds donated will go directly to Dan and Taylor help them recover from this tragedy.
