FIP treatment needed for Thor!
Donation protected
The vet confirmed my 10-month-old boy, Thor, has dry FIP.
I noticed on 3/5 that he was lethargic and wasn't excited to eat his food. He LOVES his food.
During his Monday, 3/7 vet appointment, they found his globulin level was at .4. He had 104 fever.
They gave me two medications to provide him with and told me to make a follow-up appointment for Saturday.
When I arrived on Saturday, 3/12, they advised me I was in error and that the appointment was for the following Saturday, the 19th.
I asserted they needed to see him because his symptoms did not improve even though he was being medicated.
During a physical, the vet could identify Thor's kidneys were inflamed. The X-Rays confirmed that. Also, his 104 fever was still present.
They ran an ultrasound, and it confirmed two other organs are also inflamed, and based on everything else, he is 75% sure Thor was dry FIP. (Now confirmed)
There are proven treatments available, but they are not regulated.
I adopted Thor from a rescue based in Tennessee after an extremely traumatic period of losing my last relationship.
Thor is all that I have. Please help! He's such a good boy; I need him to get better, but I cannot afford to pay for his treatments alone.
