Fionn Reid - A Super Bike for a Superb Human

If you know the human that is Fionn Reid, you'll know the many wonderful aspects of his personality. You'll also know how hard he works in his role as a Shared Lives Carer for adults with learning disabilities and how hard he has fought to support the Esk Valley Camphill Community over the last few years. You'll also know that he loves cycling very much, and is actually a pretty good cyclist. But what you might not realise, underneath his happy-go-lucky-cheeky-chappy-full-of-energy-sometimes-irritating-very-beautiful-ever-flirtatious exterior, there's an incredible rock of a person. A person who has supported his partner and her children through the darkest of times, whilst also fulfilling the very demanding role of caring for people with complex needs.

Fionn has a dream: it is to own a bike worthy of his cycling ability. Unfortunately, he knows that it will ever remain a dream unless something extraordinary happens.But I want to make the extraordinary happen. It will soon be Fionn's birthday, and I can't think of a better way to thank him than to try to raise money for his dream bike. It is clearly a luxury item, one that many people could never afford. But I also can't think of a person who deserves it more than Fionn Reid, or who would get more enjoyment out of it.
