Hi, my name is Fiona Seabrook and I’ve been accepted into the Rotary Youth Exchange Program to spend an entire school year abroad in Denmark for 2017-2018. Currently I am a sophomore at Red Hook High School, but I am originally from Woodstock, NY. I have a passion for learning and traveling, as well as music and the environment. I love to sing and play the ukulele, and also previously played the cello. My family values curiosity, and I’ve been traveling since I was very young.
Although the Rotary Program is extremely generous and cost efficient, it still is very expensive for me to be able to embark on this journey. With this GoFundMe page I have the goal of reaching $3,000 to help pay for my year-long study abroad experience. Rewards for donating include access to my blog, which I will be posting on daily during my travels, a customized post card, Skype sessions, a customized t-shirt and much more. I hope you’ll consider donating to my cause; every dollar counts!

About the Rotary Youth Exchange Program-
The Rotary Youth Exchange Program is open to any secondary school student between the ages of 15-17. These students will travel abroad and live with 2-3 different host families during the period of one year. (There is no such thing as a “typical family” so staying with multiple host families allows the student to have a more well-rounded experience) Rotary Youth Exchange students exhibit above average academic skills, demonstrated leadership in their community, outgoing personalities, and receptivity to new experiences and cultural differences. DON'T FORGET! Everyone who donates will have access to my year abroad blog, which I intend to update (hopefully) daily.
Tak! (Thank you!)
