Fiona’s Bucket List

Fiona was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer; osteosarcoma of the mandible (part of the jaw) in October 2017. She underwent intensive chemotherapy, a 20 hour operation to remove the tumour from her jaw and had her jaw reconstructed with the bone from her leg. Her resilience and strength got her through this and she was declared cancer free.

In July 2021, Fi was told her cancer has returned in her lungs. Further tests have shown that her cancer has spread to her heart (which is incredibly rare) and chest area. Sadly her cancer can no longer be cured and the treatment she will be given will be to prolong her life as much as possible. She has now started 18 weeks of chemotherapy.

Everyone who knows Fi knows she is the bravest and strongest person and she has so much of life still to live. She has two young children Jasmine, 11 and Charlie, 5 who are her entire world. And there is so much more that she would like to do with her children so they can make some wonderful memories with their amazing mum. We have set up this page to raise as much money so Fi can complete her bucket list with Jasmine and Charlie and any additional money will be put into accounts for each of them for their futures. Fi is an immensely positive person who continues to fight this horrible disease and she is an inspiration to all of her family and friends.

Thank you for reading Fi’s story and please donate if you can.
