A very good friend of mine is experiencing the most heart breaking tragedy, and I’m asking for everybody’s support. An emergency c section at 38 weeks, ended in the loss of the most beautiful baby girl. A first daughter for Ciara, a first biological child for Zach, taken away only hours after being earth side. This family has to arrange a funeral and needs time to grieve in peace. I am asking for donations to make all of this possible for them to lighten, and hopefully alleviate entirely, the financial stresses that come along with the loss of their daughter. Nobody should have to experience this, and nobody should have to worry about money at a time like this because as we all know, life unfortunately does not stop for us even in times of tragedy.

I am fully aware that this company takes a percentage of the earnings, but my knowledge is lacking on other ways of gathering help in one place. Ciara has a 6 year old son, who Zach has taken as his own since day one. He works endlessly to provide for his family, and though places of employment offer paternal leave and bereavement, there is no time that can compensate for the emotional damages this has caused. Ciara discharged herself moments after having major surgery and being placed under anesthesia to drive across town to where her daughter was transported to be with her in her final moments of life, so she should still be hospitalized and healing physically, but now emotionally, as well.

Hospital bills will be sent their way for procedures that should have never had to have been performed on such an innocent soul. Their needs will change throughout this grieving process, and I am hoping to provide them with the means to obtain those needs whether it be clothes, food, bills, therapy sessions, etc.

As we are surrounded by our own family and our own children this holiday, please consider helping out this family that I hold close to my heart, as they are going through something that is utterly unimaginable.
