In loving memory of Fiona Fraser

FINAL TOTAL:
Thank you so much to all who donated. As a community, together we raised enough for 6 bursaries. These have been split into two each year, allowing them to run until 2027. Your generosity made this possible. Thank you so much. Fiona, I hope we've done you proud.
EDIT 4: another stretch goal of a fifth bursary and you're almost there.
EDIT 3: another stretch goal of another bursary giving us a total of 4 to run over 2025 and 2026. Wow! Thank you so much.
EDIT 2: wow! We've added a second stretch goal of 3 bursaries in Fiona's name. These will run in 2025 with any unclaimed bursaries being available the following year. Your donations will truly change the options and outcomes for young people and their families to access the course. Thank you so much.
EDIT: we have been bowled over by the support we've had for this fundraiser. Based on this we had added a stretch goal of a second bursary in Fiona's name for 2025. Thank you everyone for your support.
The lovely Fiona Fraser of the Burwell Bash flute and whistle class has passed away after a long illness. She found great strength, love and joy in her whistle playing, right up to the end allowing her to forget she was sick.
Her time with Katherine Mann and Brian Finnegan was especially important to her and she will be deeply missed.
The Burwell Bash family are raising money for two projects: a permanent floral memorial for Fiona in the sunken garden of Burwell House and a bursary fund for 2025 in Fiona's name to allow a young person attend the course at a reduced rate. Knowing who she was, allowing a young person in need to attend the course that she loved would have meant the world to her.
