I am Neil, son of Mike and Nellie Fintelman. As many of you know tomorrow, Wednesday Nov 17, Mom will be the recipient of a much needed liver donation. Mom has a lesser known auto immune disease that affects the bile duct, Primary sclerosing cholangitis, which has essentially rendered her liver useless and in dire need of transplant. The surgery will go between 10-16 hours with likely a 2 week minimum hospital stay. Dad will be staying at a nearby hotel during recovery. Mom's donor is the now favorite(well deserved), younger brother Jason :).

I am setting up this page on behalf of my siblings to help, support, and bless Mom and Dad through this time. While insurance covers the around 1 million dollar of expenses for this transplant surgery, there is still a healthy out-of-pocket responsibility that will be put on Mom and Dad (i.e. home care, prescription costs, hotel stays, fuel back and forth to Madison, and a laundry list of other items). There are a couple ways to support - Prayer, first and foremost is the most important and best way to support them. After that, giving here would be a great way to bless them and allow for one less thing for Mom and Dad to be concerned with during and after recovery.
