Hi!
I am one of Amanda and David Fintan's friends. Kelly Roff, I worked with Amanda on Brainstorm in 2017.
As you many know (or not) David was diagnosed with leukaemia a couple of weeks ago. He has been in hospital receiving treatment since diagnosis. David is currently undergoing chemotherapy, thereafter he requires a Stem Cell transplant, a donor is currently being sought.
The Stem Cell part of treatment needs to take place in Sydney and may see David hospitalised for 3-4 months in Sydney, leaving Amanda, Charlie and Abigail to relocate and/or travel.
I am writing to reach out to the families friends and the Canberra community, of whom Amanda has worked so hard for through her charity work. I was hoping we could gather some financial support for Amanda and David at this time.
Amanda and David do not know I am reaching out this way.
I do not want this link shared on any form of social media, but shared privately via email amongst those you feel would want to help the family at this time.
I do not wish for Amanda and David to know about this gesture until I have funds to present to them.
I am asking that if you would like to support and are able to do so financially, that you make a donation at the link below.
All donations will go directly to Amanda and David. I would like to present them with our donation as soon as possible.
Again, please do not let the family know we are doing this. The Fintan's will have a list of donors presented to them upon presentation of funds.
