Finn's Wheelchair Van

My name is Noah Zemke and I am raising money to help purchase a wheel chair accessible van that would accommodate my 8 year old son Finn. Finn was born with undiagnosed global developmental delays in 2012. He is wheel chair bound and requires 100% mobility support. Currently we have a 2008 Ford Expedition EL that works great in terms of size to fit Finn, his two other siblings, and his wheel chair. The main issue is we have to lift Finn in and out of the Expedition into his special needs car seat and lift his wheel chair in and out of the trunk. This has been hard on Finn's body and my wife and me physically. 

We believe Finn is a special gift to our family from God. He has so many amazing qualities and a gentle spirit that everyone who comes into contact with him is impacted by. Our number one goal is to ensure Finn is safe, comfortable, and mobile. We want to ensure Finn can do all the same things as other kids and get out of the house and see/experience things. We are in a financial position to pay for or finance a good portion of this van but due to the wheel chair accessibility requirement the cost is much higher. Vans with a wheel chair lift & enough space for multiple children range from $40,000-$60,000. We want to get a vehicle with lower miles so the vehicle is reliable and the lift/equipment modifications won't have to be redone for a long time.
