Hi, my name is Paris and I’m fundraising for Finn’s surgery and medical bills.

In December 2022, Finn began to show signs of vomiting, so I took him to our normal vet. We got an X-ray that ultimately showed an abnormality in his chest. I rushed him to an ER for overnight treatment. The vet found fluid in Finn’s lungs and had to extract it. From there, we began to run several tests looking for answers to what’s causing the pleural effusion. While we waited, we had to rule out issues with his heart, so we saw a cardiologist. Luckily, that was cleared. In the meantime, we’ve had to take Finn back to have more fluid extracted from him chest. We sent out the fluids for a second time for testing and finally got a diagnosis. This now leads to surgery to stop the pleural effusion and keep Finn alive. Without this surgery, Finn will suffer respiratory failure. The doctors believe the surgery will resolve his condition and has an 80% success rate (due to anesthesia and entering through the chest). Contributions will 100% go towards the medical costs of Finn’s treatment. I’ve personally covered a large sum so far and can’t bare to ask for the entire amount.

I never ask for help, and I really didn’t want to make this. But Finn is my whole world. If you know me, you’d know how much he means to me. He’s my child in cat form. I’d do anything for him. I am asking for help because not only is this an incredibly scary time for us, but all of these costs have become drowning and financially burdening.
