Finn's Journey to Beating Cancer

Donation protected
Hello, My name is Finn. I am a 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and I am asking for a little help. The last year of my life has been pretty difficult. I've had pneumonia 3-4 times and two of those times I was admitted into the ER. This last visit in November, my mom had a follow up X-ray done to make sure the pneumonia was gone. It was. However, they found something weird growing in one of my lungs. Faaaast forward to this past Monday, (January 5th, 2025) My mom and dad drove me to Flint to see a specialist so they could give me a CT scan. They ended up finding another growth in my liver and some swollen lymph nodes. After they told my parents that, they started crying, so I'm guessing those are all bad things. The doctor is confirming a treatment plan for me. I can have my mom update you when that comes back. Thank you for listening.

Mom here. First of all, it isn’t easy sharing this post. But I know a lot of people love Finn and may be willing to help him. So here  I am asking for any help at all. Before I do that, I want to tell you all about Finn. Finn is (by no stretch of the imagination) the best friend, dog, companion we could have ever imagined. He goes to work with us everyday and literally smiles when people walk in the door. He has helped people through the loss of their family members, hard ships, and bad days just by simply being him self. And if you ask ANYONE who has been in contact with him, they will tell you how incredible he truly is. He is five now. He turned five on January 1st of this year. His time here is not over, and he has so much more love and happiness to spread. Anything you can do to help, even if it's just sharing this post for us, would be incredible. Finn thanks you too! He is the glue to our family. I am gappy to share any of his case information if needed. With the money, we'd like to get him treatment, and cover some of the vet bills that we have incurred this past year. We need to get him feeling even a little better. We are hoping to take him on at least one more adventure. We could never repay him for what he has done for us, but we would like to try. He has been diagnosed with Histiocytic Sarcoma. There are a couple treatment options that can slow the cancer down. He has one mass in his liver, and one in his lungs. Again, anything helps. This boy is extremely important to us and our car community.

Thank you!
