Hello!

Most who will read this already know Finnegan and who he is, but to explain his medical disorders… He was born with a known heart disorder and heterotaxy (having his stomach and heart on the opposite side of his body and not having a spleen). His heart disorder is being a single ventricle and not having any pulmonary arteries but having something called MAPCAS, which branches off his aorta and gives his lungs blood supply.

With his heterotaxy, he also has something called malrotation, which is where his intestines did not form right, causing him a lot of issues… We are starting to plan for him to have surgery soon (probably in the next 2-3 months) to correct this while also (hopefully) placing a GTube at the same time. We are unsure what recovery will look like for him and how long we’ll be in the hospital for this surgery…

We are making this GoFundMe because sadly, even though our life will stop momentarily, bills do not. Emily does not have a job that does PTO, so we will only have mine to go off of, and I will only have enough for a short period of time…
