You may or may not know Erin R, but she has a heart of gold and is always willing to help others.... including little Finn.

Finn needs surgery. It's crummy but he'll do amazing as a tripod kitty.

Finn was abandoned at a local feed store, too soon to be away from his mama and siblings. He was crippled on one leg. The feed store staff couldn't care for him and planned to take him to the shelter. Unfortunately that would've been a death sentence given his age and medical needs. Erin was in the right place at the right time and couldn't leave him behind.

Since then Finn has gotten the vet care he needed. They tried splinting to see if they could salvage his leg but determined it needs to be amputated. Surgery is scheduled for early next week. In the mean time, he's helping fill the hole in her heart from losing her dear old man cat earlier this year (she told me last week she always wondered what Chewie looked like as a kitten and now she knows with Finn ). If that isn't destiny, I don't know what is.

Erin would never ask for a handout. But I also know she could REALLY use the help. She has other animals that also have had lots of unexpected vet costs the last couple years and she's never asked for anything, only gave and gave. Finn's surgery starts at $3,000 - not including care he's already had and follow up care.
