Hello,

My name is Finn and I've been selected as one of 35 Scouts/Explorers representing Gloucestershire at the International Scouting Event at the 15th Haarlem Jamborette in summer 2027 in The Netherlands.

I have been involved with Scouting since I was 6 years old and joined 41st Cheltenham Beavers, then continued to Cubs, Scouts and am now in Explorers with "Devil's Chimney Explorer Group."

I love to be active and pay lots of sports and am currently completing my Young Leader Award in Scouting, volunteering weekly to support the Beavers Colony I first started my scouting in! I am also completing my Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award.

I am excited to go to Haarlem which is a huge event for Scouts aged 11-17 that includes various scouting activities, entertainment, and camping with 3500 international peers. I will mix with scouts from all over the world for 12 days! You can find out more here: https://www.haarlemjamborette.nl/

As part of the World Scout Jamboree and to participate in the experience of a lifetime, I must fundraise towards the £1400 cost. I am fundraising through running online quizzes, cake sales, events with my local scout group, physical challenges...I have 18 months to think of ideas and get working hard!

Thank you for supporting me!

Finn
