Finn & Eve's Bridge To Brisbane run for Thea and Mefties
Eve & Finn are 10 yr-old twins. Their 4-year-old sister, Thea has an extremely rare genetic condition called MEF2C Haploinsufficiency Syndrome (MCHS) that severely impacts neurological and physical development. To fundraise for research into MCHS, and raise awareness of Thea's condition, Eve & Finn are running the Bridge To Brisbane (10km) on the 14th of September 2025.
Finn & Eve's family, together with the parents of another Mefty (the affectionate name given to those with MCHS) established the MEF2C Foundation Australia last year, a registered charity which aims to raise awareness, build community and support research into MCHS. They have also established the Mefties Run Club to promote the idea of running for MCHS. Eve and Finn will be running with their whole family, including Thea (in a pram :)
Eve & Finn hope that their run helps them to communicate Thea’s condition to the communities that they are part of and they are grateful for your support!
