Finley Nunn's YWAM Journey

Hello everyone,

About Me:

My name is Finley Nunn. I am 19 years old and just finished my first year of college at Dallas Baptist University. My faith has always been such a huge part of my life. This past year I have felt called by God to go into missions work. I will be apart of a program called YWAM (Youth With A Mission).

What is YWAM:

This September I have the opportunity of participating in a mission foundation called YWAM (Youth With A Mission). They have Discipleship Training Schools that prepare students to go and preach to the nations. The DTS is an intensive Christian training course that consists of a classroom/lecture phase followed by an international outreach into areas of the world that have little or no Christian influence. The DTS aims to encourage students to develop personal character and to cultivate a living relationship with God, and identify their unique gifts and callings.

Outreach:

During my outreach I will be serving others in many different ways. Whether that be building houses or providing food for the poor, the goal is to show others the love of Christ in any way we can.

Where I will be:

My DTS will be in Colorado Springs. I will be located in Colorado for three months then will be sent on mission for the next two months.

Financial Support:

As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise 3000 dollars by November. If you can partner with me in a financial way, I would be very grateful.
