Hello, my name is Katy. I am Finley's human. Finley is in trouble. She has had a very bad inner ear infection for almost 3 months. The entire staff at Millis Animal Hospital have been amazing, especially Dr. Savage. She has tried everything to help Finley heal. After 3 rounds of steroids and antibiotics, the towel has been thrown in. Finley's doctor says the only thing we can do now, is to go see a board certified specialist at Mizzos veterinary school in Columbia Missouri. We've been told that we will need to go there twice. Once for an evaluation, tests and a CT Scan. The next time they will most likely need to scope her ear in a procedure that is very delicate and expensive, because Finley will need to be sedated. Hopefully, they can flush the inner ear and reduced the inflammation. The worst case is if there's a tumor or they need remove her ear canal. She also has a cracked tooth that may be causing an infection. If the tooth needs to be removed that will be another surgery. With all of life's ups and downs, I'm unfortunately not in a position to afford all the care she needs. Finley is my heart and right now I'm asking for help. If we don't get Finley these procedures, she could lose her hearing or experience facial paralysis. Any and all help would be so appreciated.
