New Men Post Production

Hello!
Thank you for following New Men and supporting the project thus far. Your contributions sustained much of the production thus far. Over the past year-and-a-half, I’ve spent over two months living and filming at Holy Cross Monastery, and in the times between visits, have dedicated hundreds of hours to transcribing interviews and processing and editing the footage. Entering the final phase of the film, I need your help in order to finish editing and cover the cost of music licensing for the score.
Here are two additional clips from the film:
The leadership at Holy Cross, in addition to several other filmmakers, have viewed the film and provided positive feedback. The film will run approximately 48 minutes, and with God’s grace, it's going to be very good. Here’s the official synopsis—
—
"New Men chronicles the life of a Russian Orthodox monastery in West Virginia by following the community through the liturgical church year. Their faith, work, and life are woven together through interviews with the monks and the abbot as they reflect on why they have left their families, careers, and former identities behind to pursue a life of asceticism and prayer. the film culminates with a monk taking vows to live in obedience within the community until his death—footage rarely allowed to be captured on film."

I’m asking your help to complete the post production of New Men. The budget includes the costs of lodging and meals for the past two trips (which will go directly to Holy Cross), gasoline, music licensing, and one month of basic living expenses to cover the creative working hours that have been, and will be dedicated to completing New Men by Pascha of 2019. After this, I'll submit the film to festivals and make private screenings available. Ultimately, the film will be available on the iTunes store or Vimeo.
Below is the budget for completing New Men. Any funds raised beyond the target will be donated directly to Holy Cross Monastery.
Music licensing
$900—license cost for 4 pieces of music for the film score.
Travel, food, and lodging
$360—donation to Holy Cross for housing and meals during the past two trips.
$100—gasoline for the past two trips.
Living expenses while in post production
$1,140—one month of housing, insurance, food, utilities, and software subscriptions
Total budget
$2,500
Thank you for your time. Any contributions are exceedingly helpful and I look forward to sharing the film with everyone. Please share this on Facebook or Twitter if you feel inclined!
