(this is all very hard for me to ask for help but I truly am at the point of desperation) Hi there- my name is Emily and the fur baby in the picture is my little Beans. I am currently in nursing school in my final semester, but after my first semester, my husband (also a nurse) left our marriage of 8 years. At the same time I was fired from my job due to covid reasons. My husband agreed that it would be best for me to focus on just school and he would assist me financially until our divorce was finalized, also it helped I had unemployment. Shortly after I moved to my own place, my husband took his direct deposit out of our joint account and I was officially left to live only on my unemployment. Early on, Beans had some medical issues that blew through any savings I had, which led me to the beginning of being unable to make my rent payment. Long story short, I have been chased down by my building for eviction which is finally coming to a head next week. Not only that, the trial date is the same day as a test I have in school, and my building will not consent to an adjournment. If I miss this test, it will tank my grade. I am attempting now to get rid of all of my furniture and move into an extended stay hotel or something because I can't crash on a couch with anyone because my dog is too much of a responsibility for most people to handle while I am at school or in clinical. I just need to finish school (ends in May) so I can have the ability to focus on school, pass my exams, and get my license so I can get back to being able to support myself. I really appreciate any help as my husband appears to not want to mediate any longer and wants to pursue a trial (which I will certainly not be able to afford), but all I care about right now is finishing school and passing. Asking for help is so painful but I am truly desperate. I have drained all available resources and this is my last ditch hope for a little miracle. I pray that any donation you contribute comes back to you in multiples.
