Hi everyone, my name is Alice. I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Canada in 2019 with my two dogs, Vader and Vito, and my former partner. At the time, he was my sponsor and had committed to supporting my education.

In 2022, our paths took different directions, and after our separation, I sold our car to cover part of my tuition. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough, and to continue studying this semester, I had to rely on my credit card to pay the remaining costs.

Now, I’m just one semester away from graduating — only four courses left to complete my degree. This achievement means the world to me. I’ve worked so hard and faced many challenges along the way, but I’m determined to finish what I started.

I was never much of a dreamer, but today, I dream of walking across that stage, diploma in hand, knowing that all the time, effort, and sacrifices were worth it.
