Finishing my debut LP record!!

Donation protected
My name is Aaron, and I have been working on a nine-song LP record for several years now. Myself, my friends, and collaborators have put so much of our time, creative energy and hearts into making these songs sound complete, sonically pleasing, and well produced. Many of my friends have generously contributed their time recording, composing, harmonizing, producing, setting up mics, and helping me finish lyrics, and I owe it to them and to myself to give these songs over to an experienced pro in the mixing and mastering phase.

Thus far, I have been using my personal funds to sustain the production side of the album. I have paid session players to track drums and bass, as well as for engineering and producing. I also bought gear, primarily a few quality microphones, necessary to pursue the sounds I wanted. We didn't want these songs to sound sparse and stripped, but instead decided to chase that Phil Spector "wall of sound" sonic quality that can be heard in one of my favorite records, "All Things Must Pass." I feel we've gotten as close as we can without sacrificing the raw feeling of the songs, and I'm really proud of all of it.

Between overseas invasions and culture wars at home, it's a very wild and uncertain time in history. That being said, it's also a crucial time for artists to be creating and sharing their work. This project has been such an arduous yet creatively rewarding process, but the FINAL part of the process is getting my songs mixed and mastered by someone who can make them sound great. Normally those fees range from 300-500 per song, while mastering is about $100 a song. There will be 9 songs on the record.

I have posted a link to soundcloud of a few samples from a few different (unmixed) songs to share a little glimpse into the project, and to give a clearer idea of how the money will be used: Song Mash Sampler

I will also be releasing my first single on June 20th, with a single a month leading up to the album release in October. I'm going to be dropping every song on Spotify, and utilizing a strategic release campaign for every song. I'm going to do everything I can to maximize Spotify plays, and eventually start playing some live shows. I will also be releasing the record on Vinyl.

If you have anything to spare, I would be eternally grateful!
