It is with a heavy heart that one of my best and most dear friends, Marcia Farrow passed away unexpectedly. She leaves behind two beautiful children.  From Marcia’s mother, Michele McClure.

Marcía went into outpatient surgery on the morning of May 15th for what was supposed to be a routine partial hysterectomy. She was released with pain meds the same day. Later that day she was unable to pass urine so the Dr. sent her to the ER with the notion her bladder was full to get some relief. She was catheterized and sent home. Saturday, same issue more pain, Dr. sent her back ER where they said they did a scan and she had a bladder infection. She was sent home with the catheter and an antibiotic. Sunday morning she could barely move, was in severe pain, and breathing heavily when the ambulance came to get her. That was the last time I saw and spoke to my beauty.

She was admitted on Sunday. Another Cat scan revealed fluid in her abdomen. They waited until Monday to operate and that’s when they found her colon and been cut during the surgery on Friday and leaked into her abdomen sending her into septic shock and subsequently taking her life.

She was a fighter from day one! She fought for her family, friends, co-workers, employees, and her kids to no end.

She was fighting for her health when her life was tragically and unnecessarily taken from her children and family way too soon.

Funds will be used for medical and funeral expenses, as well as help to provide her children with the care they need.
