Finishing Carmen Miranda!

In 2017 I started writing a mother and daughter story set in Los Angeles, called Lemon Lemonade. The idea was to share a message of hope and resilience, the spirit that make our Hispanic communities strong and so hardworking. I wanted to say that sometimes life doesn't bring exactly what we were hoping for and it is up to us to make it better. Life gives us lemons, we make lemonade. This idea became a web-series called Carmen Miranda. Carmen Miranda, the 1940's icon, still influences Latin representation beyond the hispanic world.
So many cool people have come together to help out with production. We all really want to see this project released and reaching audiences.
The money we are raising is for editing, color correction, sound mix, and graphics. The director Javier Colon Rios ( I Am A Director, Yo Soy Un Politico) will also be editing the series.
Reaching our campaign goal would mean being able to release the series and be able to show the hard work we have done.
We will be forever grateful for your support and help!!!
