In early 2018 we launched a project to build the Põhjakotka Tare at Kotkajärve.     This was an ambitious project to replace the aging Suur Tare that had surpassed its useful life and could no longer be salvaged.   

With  incredibly generous donations from the community we were able to raise over $130,000 for this project.  We launched the build in the fall of 2018 with the demolition of the old tare and foundation preparations for the new.    And in early June of this year we started the build.  As of September we are in the final stretch and are nearing completion.

However, we still need to raise a little bit more to complete this project.

There are a lot of internal finishes that need to be made to complete this project, so we turn back to you - the friends of Estonian Scouting - to once again support us in completing this amazing new building for the Scouts.

Major donors will be honored on a donor plaque mounted in the new building.  Individuals and organizations
donating more than $200 will be recognized on this plaque.  Our most significant benefactors will have their names/logos featured prominently.
