We’re reaching out to share the story of a family who has spent their lives giving, and now finds themselves in a season of real need.
Bev, Cindy, and Brenda Buller are three sisters who committed years ago to raising six children adopted from foster care. In 2007, Cindy suffered the first of two major strokes, leaving her with lifelong disabilities. Bev and Brenda stepped in to care for her while continuing to raise the children. Then, in 2011, a fire destroyed their home, forcing them into a much smaller house that once belonged to their parents.
Over time, with limited resources, the house fell into serious disrepair—rotting floors, a failing roof, and significant plumbing issues made it unsafe. Earlier this year, the family faced another hardship when their daughter Kaylee lost her husband and, along with her two children, had to move back into the already crowded home for a time.
Recognizing the need, we stepped in with two goals:
1. Provide temporary housing so renovations could be done safely and without disruption.
2. Restore their home to a functional, safe, and comfortable space.
Thanks to incredible generosity, most interior renovations are now complete—an undeniable testimony to God’s goodness. However, a few key exterior projects remain, and we still need about $20,000 to fully finish the work and give the family lasting peace of mind.
We are deeply grateful for the tireless efforts of the deacons and brethren of the Mesa View congregation, whose dedication has made much of this possible.
Thank you for your consideration and continued support of this remarkable family. They have spent their lives giving to others, and now we have a meaningful opportunity to give back.
God bless you all for your generosity.
