Hello,

My name is Elnaz, and I’m an international Master student currently in my final semester of Biomedical Engineering in Italy. Over the past year, I’ve been facing serious financial challenges. Last year, I had to retake an exam I didn’t pass the first time, which unfortunately led to the loss of my scholarship which was a vital source of support that helped me manage a very tight budget. Losing my scholarship meant that all the money that was given I now had to pay back in addition to the fees I have to pay for my Masters degree.

Since then, I’ve been barely managing to get by, relying heavily on the support of my parents, who have done everything they can for me. But now, and this is the main reason I’m reaching out, they’re no longer able to provide the financial help I need.

On top of daily living expenses, the fees for my degree have gradually piled up, and they’ve now reached a point where I simply can’t manage them on my own.

It has been a lifelong dream of mine to study and live in Europe—to experience its cultures, connect with its people, and enjoy the greater freedoms life here offers, especially as a woman. As of now, my plan is to finish my studies. I’ve worked incredibly hard to make this dream a reality, but lately, it’s felt like it’s slipping away.

Due to the current conflict in my country, my parents are now unable to send me any financial support. On top of that, finding part-time job has been extremely difficult, especially since I don’t speak Italian well.

Any support, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and allow me to continue working towards my goals.
