Hi, my name is Julio and I’m fundraising to be able to finish my capoeira studio.

I started capoeira at the age of 10 in São Paulo, Brazil. Ever since then my big dream has been to have a dedicated space where I can share this beautiful art form and create a strong community connecting deeply with my students.

Now, after 25 years in capoeira, it’s finally happening! We are almost there, but there is still a lot to buy, including training equipment, mirrors, furniture for the waiting room and changing room, and other materials for us to finalize construction and offer the best possible experience for our students and community. Like many people, we have been affected by increases in the price of goods and supply chain issues due to world events.
