FINE DETAILS - A SHORT FILM

Please help fund my short film!! I’m currently in the process of producing a short film with help from my friends at GLG Studios and we are currently under budget. FINE DETAILS is a short written, directed and staring myself alongside an incredible cast and crew!

SYPNOSIS

In a remote French pub, MAN 2, drowning his sorrows in alcohol, encounters THE MAN, a mysterious and philosophical figure. Through allegorical tales, THE MAN challenges MAN 2 to confront his inner struggles and embrace life's complexities. As they engage in dialogue about happiness, resilience, and the human experience, MAN 2 begins to gain new insights. Inspired by THE MAN's wisdom, MAN 2 joins a band outside the pub for an exuberant dance, symbolising his newfound acceptance of life's challenges and determination to find meaning and joy within them.

To take this project to the next level we are in search of some extra funds! Production is set to start shooting mid June, but in order for it to run smoothly we need a little help… We are currently a little under budget and cannot proceed with post production until some more funds are raised. ABOUT ME & THE PROJECT

My name is Hugh Hedley Lewis and I am British actor currently based in Los Angeles. 5 years ago I decided to pack my bags and pursue a BFA in acting at California Institute of the Arts. Here, my passion led me down numerous creative paths, acquiring experience in a wide variety of performance styles including clowning, dance, physical theatre, sketch comedy, improvisation, film, voice-over and heightened text. Now my training is over, I am ready to move on from just performing and dive into the world of filmmaking. The last 6 months have been spent writing my passion project - A feature length film following the story of a struggling young man travelling across Europe alongside his mothers ashes. This short is a scene extracted from that feature length script. So by helping fund this short you are helping build the foundations to the main goal… the dream… FINE DETAILS THE FEATURE!
