FIND THE BATS
Donation protected
I'm Adam Dhalla, Creator of the successful educational mobile game Find the Birds www.findthebirds.com
Thanks! The donations have now been used to launch a new free game called:
Find the Bats
Presented by Merlin Tuttle's Bat Conservation
This new mobile educational game teaches children & adults about bats, their importance, and how to protect them. It starts with a Texas in-game location. Players explore simulated habitats, look for bats, collect information about them on species cards, take photos, and do conservation quests. Please visit www.findthebats.com to download the game. It's free to download, with no purchases required nor ads. It's available worldwide on Google Play (for Android devices) & Apple App Store (for iPads, iPhones & newer MacBooks).
Merlin Tuttle's Bat Conservation provided the photographs & educational content for the game. Merlin is even featured as a character in the game! Merlin Tuttle (pictured below with a Straw-Colored Fruit Bat) is considered by many to be the top bat expert in the world. Read more about his work at: www.merlintuttle.org
As we don't charge for this free game, we're asking for your help, so we can add more in-game locations & bats. If you'd like to see more people educated about bats (who are not only fun to watch, but also key for keeping insect populations under control for farmers/society in general and for plant/crop pollination), please donate!
Note: As I'm based in Canada, the fundraiser is in Canadian dollars (i.e. based on the current exchange rate, one Canadian dollar is only about 74 cents U.S.). As GoFundMe takes a (very reasonable) service fee for hosting this campaign, there is no need for you to tip them (i.e. adjust that slider to "0" when doing your donation) - better for bats if you can put this money towards your actual donated amount instead!
