Joe Keller embarked with his friends Collin Gwaltney and Christian Fetzner on a cross-country road trip on July 13. They planned to travel from their home state of Tennessee to the west coast and loop around, stopping at famous landmarks and major cities along the way. It was to be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, a 15-day journey to experience life in one of it's rawest and most carefree forms.
On July 23rd at 4:30pm, Joe and Collin went for a run near Rainbow Trout Ranch in Antonito, Colorado. Since Collin is a faster runner, they agreed to meet back at the ranch in one hour, so they could each go at their own pace. Collin arrived back at the ranch at the decided time and waited for Joe, but he never appeared.
The search for Joe began with just the few friends and family that were at the ranch and has since grown to include search dogs, men on horseback and ATV, helicopters, and infrared-equipped airplanes, but Joe has still not been found.
A reward of $10,000 is now being offered for the return or information leading to the return of Joe. The money raised here will go to the Keller family to help with search costs and the reward. Please consider giving and helping return Joe to his friends and family.
