Finding the light in the war against cancer

Donation protected
UPDATE: It is with great sadness that I am reopening up this go fund me. The cancer that our sweet courageous Kaycee has is extremely aggressive and was deemed incurable back in March. Since March Kaycee’s health has continued to decline. Two nights ago as her and her family had stepped off the plane from their amazing Wishes Can Happen trip Kaycee began having life threatening seizures and is currently sedated and intubated. The cancer has become so widespread throughout her brain and spinal cord that they are working on keeping her comfortable right now. My brother and sister in law need to stay by her side and be able to take the time they both need to be with their sweet little girl, their other daughter and each other. As they near the end they will also need help with end of life costs. We are eternally grateful for all the help they have already received and will continue to be grateful for any and all future donations. They are in the worst possible stage of this horrific disease.

Hi, my name is Amy. On Easter my brother, Mike Clark, and sister in law, Nicole Clark received news no parent ever wants to hear. Through the fight of a mother’s intuition a brain tumor was found on my nieces brain which has been diagnosed as cancer. The day after Easter the sweetest little girl underwent brain surgery to remove the tumor and by God’s grace the entire tumor was able to be removed. She is currently going through intensive therapies to regain her strength and abilities affected by the surgery. The pathology of the tumor has come back to show an aggressive form of cancer which is going to require an aggressive road of treatments ahead. The next step in a few weeks is a six week round of radiation all the way down in Cincinnati, which will require extended stays away from home and work.

Mike and Nikki are going to need any bit of help anyone is able to give during this hard time. The medical bills are just beginning with the surgery, hospital stays, therapies and the treatments that are not far behind. They will both require several weeks off of work to get through not only the surgery recovery but the radiation and chemotherapy treatments as well. I am hoping to make their journey ahead a little lighter. Any amount helps and if you are unable to help please share to reach as many people as possible.
