Finding peace for my family

Hello everyone.

My dad was a carefree man who loved to enjoy life the way he wanted. He never worries about anything and will always take care of anyone. He went to my sister's house with my mom for the fourth of July weekend. Things were fine until he had a mini heart attack on Sunday, July 3rd. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, and during his stay, had seizures. I flew down the day after I received a call from my family that he was in the hospital. I wanted to be there with him to make sure that he was ok. Within the week, the doctors said that his health was not improving and could end up passing away. My family and relatives had a discussing regarding how to deal with it. Even though we did not want him to suffer, we also did not want him to pass away. We all ended up deciding to take the ventilation away to see how he will deal without getting oxygen.

To everyone's surprise, he was still breathing, and we believed that he was fighting to stay alive. Sadly, the doctors also mentioned that each time he had a seizure, his condition was getting worse. Every event that happened in the ICU and the medsurg was slowly making him weak. As a family, we had faith that he would come out strong and wake up. Unfortnately, on July 19th, at 10:30 PM, he passed away.

My family, relatives, and his friends were shocked by the news because no one was expecting it. We all loved him and adored everything about him, and now we are making preparations for his prayer sessions, funeral, and burial. My mom is having to deal with the medical bills and the funeral bills, and I do not want my mom to have these burdens on her. She is a very hard worker and will not stop to help anyone. My sister and I are also going to help with the payments but we do not have enough.

So all the funds are going towards his funeral and his medical bill. We, especially my mom, have gone through a lot these past few weeks, and we wanna make sure that she will not have to worry about it. Anything else, and I thank everyone who are supporting my family. We appreciate everything y'all have done for us, and will make sure to help finish paying off the bills.
