Finding Pace – Running 1,000 km for Mental Health

Donation protected
Hi,
my name is Josia and in May 2026 I will start my project Finding Pace: a 1,000 km solo charity ultramarathon from Nice to Barcelona – more than three weeks, more than a marathon a day.

The goal is to raise awareness for youth mental health and to support the Mental Health Initiative (MHI) with its programs in depression prevention.

This first fundraiser is to cover the logistical costs – mainly a camper van, food supplies, and a film crew that will document the journey. Without this foundation, the run simply can’t happen.

Important: Anything raised beyond these costs will not go into my own pocket but will already be directed to the depression prevention fund. During the run itself, there will be a separate fundraising campaign where 100% of the money goes directly to MHI. If you’d like to donate exclusively to the charity cause, feel free to follow me on Instagram @fndngpace, where I’ll share the next call for donations.

There are also other ways to support the project:
If you work for a company – or know someone who might be interested in sponsoring me, helping with media exposure, or supporting in any other way – I’d love to hear from you!

Thank you so much for any kind of support – whether it’s through donating or simply sharing the project. Together we can take a stand for mental health.

With gratitude,
Josia
