Finding our Galicia Polish Ancestors
Donation protected
If you are working on your family tree there is nothing more exciting than seeing the actual birth, marriage or death record of an ancestor that sheds light on the lives of those that came before us. These records are from 1800-1940 and there are still hundreds of Church books that need to be photographed and indexed.
Tomasz Saczawa lives in Poland and is actively doing just that!
Once he photographs the records, he transcribes them to make the information easy to read. This all takes time and money. Tomasz travels to the various villages and then makes the data available for us to use. This information is helpful to those who want to build their family tree or to place DNA matches on their tree and make connections with cousins here in the States and across the world. It is also useful for those looking for parents, grandparents, and siblings.
