My name is Nicole Borchers and my life was turned upside down after suffering a devastating stroke due to hyper-tension due to a result of my career demands.  My ability to earn an income has come to an abrupt halt to  the effects of my health.  I am having to re-learn how to walk, talk, and trying to find my new normal (me).

I have spent the majority of my life in Montana including attending the University of Montana as a self sufficient  young adult working my way through college as a personal banker and gravitating to a mortgage banker.  In my career as a banker I was able to achieve the upper echelon of career achievements year after year over thirty years plus.  That world has been devastated and I need to relearn much.

During my last couple decades, I was crowned Mrs. Montana in 2008 however, one of my greatest achievements was helping to raise my three step-children to adulthood and now have six terrific grand children I consider my own.

My husband and I have been married sixteen years and we have surround our children with a nice home and safe haven and now, we face loosing our home due to my medical bills from the stroke, hospital stay, and many numerous months of out-patient physical, occupational, and speech therapy to try and get back to my new normal.  We share a deep faith in the lord and savior Jesus Christ and rely on our faith to help us through this most difficult time and strive to bring our faith to our family, friends, acquaintances, and friends we haven't met yet.

  We have always been generous to others in life and now we need your grace, mercy, and generosity to help us pay our enormous medical expenses and safe our home.  I still have so much to offer this world and want to live to see my grand children grow up. This request has been authored by my husband  as I need to re-learn my speech and typing skills which was over sixty-five words per minute. Please help me find my way back to my new normal.  I know that I have made me friends from strangers and turned my clients into friends for life. My heart is breaking everyday knowing I have a hard road ahead but, I have not wallowed in my devastation but persevered to get back to old self as soon as possible. 

 There are so many worthy causes and some many devastating diseases that have taken our loved ones away from us, God's plan can be tough to swallow at times but my faith in God remains as strong as ever, after all he spared me and I thank him every day I get to stay on this earth. Thank you my friends and loved ones in advance for anything you can give. I promise to spend the rest of my life giving back to others in the same way you are giving me.
