I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but I’m reaching out on behalf of my sweet girl, Skye.

Many of you know Skye and the joy she brings to everyone she meets. She has such a gentle, loving spirit and has made so many people smile over the years. She truly means the world to me.

Over the past couple of months, Skye has been dealing with ongoing health issues that we haven’t been able to fully figure out. She’s not eating well and just hasn’t been herself. We’ve done everything we can so far — including X-rays, bloodwork, cytology, and even an ultrasound — but we still don’t have clear answers.

We’ve also tried multiple medications, along with more integrative approaches like acupuncture and Chinese herbs, hoping something would help her feel better. Unfortunately, we’re now at the point where she needs to see a specialist for further diagnostics, including a vaginoscopy, to try and get to the root of what’s going on.

To make this possible, we will be traveling out of Knoxville to find a more affordable option for her care. Her specialist consult is scheduled for May 13th, with the scope likely to follow within a few days of that appointment.

If you’ve followed Moose’s journey, you know how much care and resources have already gone into making sure he stays healthy. Because of that, finances have become very tight, and I simply cannot afford this next step for Skye on my own.

This is incredibly hard for me to ask, but I want to do everything I can for her. She deserves answers, comfort, and the chance to feel like herself again.
