Two years ago I was finally diagnosed with alpha-gal syndrome, a red meat allergy that explained almost a decade of mysterious reactions and fear. For years I lived uncertainly, changing meals, avoiding social gatherings, and wondering when the next reaction would come. Receiving a diagnosis brought relief, but also a new reality: navigating allergy management, learning what to avoid, and coping with the emotional toll of chronic food allergy has been overwhelming at times.
That is why I am supporting Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). Their work in funding research, offering education, and advocating for those with food allergies means families get clearer answers faster and people like me have better tools to live fully and safely. FARE’s efforts make a real difference in improving quality of life and advancing treatments that could spare others years of uncertainty.
I am raising funds to stand with FARE so they can continue transforming research into real-world help. Every contribution supports crucial education for patients and providers, research into allergy prevention and therapies, and advocacy that protects people with food allergies in schools and communities.
Please join me in supporting FARE. Your donation will help others find answers, feel safer, and move forward with hope.
