Hi, I am Sabine and I have a cat Stippie. We urgently need help, to keep us safe, together and to a place that we can call home.
September 2024, I have left the Netherlands with stippie, escaping an abusive relationship. We went to Spain, where we were trying to make things work, but unfortunately my papers didn't went through, so we had to go back to the .
In the Netherlands the situation even worse, as I was told that I am not registered in The Netherlands anymore. The first option to file for that, is on July 6th (!!). Than they will need another 8 weeks to actually stamp that file... So that was a big shock.
Conrete this means:
No support, no shelter, no options. no financial support, nothing...
Not allowed to get an extra job next to my personal business..
What we really need right now is the funds to rent an apartment. In the Netherlands, that is 3 months (2 are deposit). And money for a bit of furniture to get started, as we only have each other and some clothes left...
we are currently staying in an over priced room, which is completely not affordable.. only possible because of the beautiful people that know stippie and me, that kept us safe.
Authorities have only one option, get rid of your cat (She is my family and all I have!) so that I can survive alone on the streets..
It is a completely horrible situation.. as I do still pay taxes in the Netherlands, but zero rights because of the disfunctional system.
We don't fit any 'box'. So my only hope right now, is to reach out for help. So that we can finally make a fresh start in life...
I also need to pay loving people back, that helped me to this point. So these past 6,5 years, had a deep impact. And I feel in my whole being, that I need peace, stability and a fresh outlook on life ❤️
