As some of you know our little boy Tommie got diagnosed with Type One diabetes a couple days before his 2nd birthday in October last year. It was a huge shock to us and we were completely naive to what Type One diabetes was before diagnoses. We are 9 months in and he has been a complete super star, taking everything in his stride. We are so lucky with the technology now that can help lead such a normal life with diabetes, however we still pray for a cure every day, like many others. So in August we are opening up the racing stables in Milborne Port for the public to come and view our facilities / parade the horses and raise a good amount of money and awareness for Breakthrough T1D - The gates will open from 11am with the first parade of horses at 12 o'clock - Information can be found on the poster below or the postcode is DT9 5HE. Some people that are unable to join us and would still like to make a donation please use this Go-Fund me page. Money for the Open day will be taken on the entrance and donated directly to the charity.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us as a family. More information about Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Limited: BreakthroughT1D, formerly JDRF, is the type 1 diabetes charity, improving lives until we find the cure.
