We just learned that my eldest ferret, Beethoven, is terminally ill. His brother, Tchaikovsky, has lived with Beethoven since he was a child, and doesn't know how to live alone. We are looking for a new friend to keep Tchaikovsky company, but buying a ferret is expensive, and we're already struggling with money.
